Position Overview:
The Inventory and Fulfillment Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control, warehouse operations, order fulfillment and shipping to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products to customers.  This role plays a critical part in maintaining optimal stock levels, streamlining fulfillment processes, and driving operational efficiency. The Inventory and Fulfillment Manager will lead a team of warehouse and fulfillment staff, establish and enforces standard operating procedures, and leverages inventory management systems to maintain real-time visibility into stock levels and order status.  This individual works cross functionally with procurement, production and customer service teams to align inventory availability with business demand and customer expectations.

Duties / Responsibilities
  • Assist with organization and layout of materials throughout facility
  • Overseeing the receiving, put away, and storage of incoming goods
  • Tracking stock levels and maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Setting reorder points and managing replenishment cycles
  • Conducting cycle counts and physical inventories
  • Monitoring material requirements based on production schedules
  • Tracking lead times and flagging potential shortages in advance
  • Maintain accurate records of material stock levels
  • Updating inventory management or ERP systems in real time
  • Issuing materials to production team as needed, ensure consistent and predictable flow of material to manufacturing staff for final assembly and test
  • Managing material flow to minimize bottlenecks or delays   
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards
  • Supporting audits with accurate documentation
  • Ensure reporting and tracking of inventory meets QA and finance requirements
  • Processing incoming shipments and verifying against purchase orders
  • Ensuring orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time
  • Managing relationships with shipping carriers
  • Resolving shipping errors, delays, and managing returns.
  • Coordinating with purchasing/procurement on inventory needs
  • Training and scheduling
  • Managing inventory management systems or ERP platforms
  • Identifying process improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency
  • Perform Order Processing duties as required to support company objectives
  • Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Three years related experience in receiving and inventory tracking or demonstrated applicable experience.
  • Ability to effectively present information in written and oral format and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and government regulators.
  • Basic math skills required, including accurate physical counting and recording of inventory numbers by part numbers, bins and/or dates. Filtering and sorting large datasets.
  • Ability to solve practical problems.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Demonstrated multitasking ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and interruptions.
  • Attention to detail is required.
  • Excellent personal computer skills and common PC software including MS Office and Dropbox.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
  • 3-5 years managing inventory or similar position
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Certified in Logistics and/or Warehouse Management
  • Skill in MS Excel
  • Skill in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, or similar ERP system
  • International shipping experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to regularly stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance or appropriate equipment.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist while retrieving and storing inventory.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers for repetitive tasks, including packing, labeling, sorting, and operating inventory management equipment.
  • Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, barcode scanners, and shipping equipment.
  • Ability to climb ladders or step stools to access inventory stored at various heights.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to shipping and packaging materials.
  • Ability to visually inspect products, read labels, shipping documents, and computer screens.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions associated with packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory management activities.
  • Ability to sit and use a computer for inventory transactions and administrative tasks.
