Director, Program Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a Program Manager at the director level to run our FAA programs and support other portfolios within the company. This newly-created role will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and will collaborate with employees at various levels within the company. A successful incumbent will demonstrate thought leadership in contributing to overall business objectives, as well as short- and long-term business strategies. This position will also stand-up the PM function and ensure scalability as the company continues to grow.

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year.

Director, Program Manager Duties and Responsibilities

- Lead and provide strategic direction on complex projects.
- Effectively design, develop, and manage detailed project plans. This includes managing project scope, budget, resources, stakeholder engagement, communication, and quality.
- Cultivate strong working relationships and strategic partnerships with stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness and influence.
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- 10+ years of related project management experience with a proven track record of successful delivery of program initiatives.
- Experience in government contracting.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Excellent planning, organization, and management skills.
- Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Significant experience with Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Familiarity with FAA and aviation programs a plus.
